PG students of the Department got an opportunity to interact with Tom Thomas Puthiyaparambil Ph.D., Vice President, Special projects, Organic Aromatics, Sami Sabinsa Group, Bangalore on 1oth Feb 2021 in the Nobel Laureate Hall. It was a very fruitful interaction where students could get a feel of the industry settings and opportunities in the industry.
He spoke to students on the need for having an adaptive mind and the willingness to learn new technologies that will definitely help them to shine in their future careers. He insisted the students inculcate the ability to connect and correlate what they learn to what they do. He also discussed various opportunities for M.Sc. students and Ph.D. scholars and the necessary qualities for a fresher as they enter into the chemical industry. Overall, it was an interactive session where the students could also raise their queries and get an idea about the career opportunities ahead.
